Harrow Council is bringing its IT services back in-house after its current provider refused to extend its contract.
The deal with Sopra Steria will finish in October 2020. The firm had confirmed in July it was unlikely to continue the contract.
The council will instead grow its IT team from 12 staff to 25, funded through savings made by not renewing the contract.
