Council in £54m swoop for retail park

A mystery local authority has bought a retail park in Gloucester for £54m.

A statement by property investor Hammerson this week said that it has sold St Oswald’s Retail Park at a price reflecting a net initial yield of 8.5%.

However, it did not name the authority that bought the 20,900m2 scheme to the north of the city centre.
