There are just over two weeks to go before Room151’s inaugural treasury conference for the north of England chaired by Manchester City Council’s Tim Seagrave and featuring insight from the head of Whitehall’s local government finance unit.
LATIF North is the sister conference of Room151’s annual Local Authority Treasurers Investment Forum (LATIF) hosted at the London Stock Exchange each September.
Taking place in Manchester on 22 March, LATIF North will include a policy update from Gareth Caller, who leads local government finance unit at the department for homes, communities and local government. Over 70 councils, largely from across the north, have registered to attend the inaugural event.
