Roundtable: real estate & the LGPS

Room151 brought together LGPS investors representing four local authority funds and three pools to speak to fund managers from M&G and Pluto Finance about the opportunities to provide long-term capital to the residential real estate sector.

LGPS investors are increasingly looking to diversify their portfolios away from traditional bond and equity holdings, as a result, demand for real estate is growing. Several pools are currently in the process of launching or expanding their existing real estate strategies. We took a closer look at the role LGPS investors can play in tackling the housing crisis.
