Martin quits as LPP chief

The head of the Local Pensions Partnership has stepped down.

A statement confirmed that chief executive Susan Martin, who has been with LPP for three years and with a founder shareholder London Pensions Fund Authority (LPFA) for nine years had resigned.

Chris Rule, the managing director of its investment management subsidiary, has been appointed as interim CEO.

Michael O’Higgins, chair of Local Pensions Partnership, said: “We’d like to thank Susan for her significant contribution to the establishment and success of LPP and wish her the very best for the future.”
