A coalition of Local Government Pension Scheme funds and pools has launched a procurement framework covering member data services.
The group, National LGPS Frameworks, says the framework will help funds access services to help them improve and maintain the quality of their critical member records.
The multi-provider framework offers data management services including address tracing and correction and mortality screening.
Nicola Mark, head of Norfolk Pension Fund and chair of the National LGPS Frameworks collaboration, said: “Data quality is quite rightly high on the agenda of all LGPS Funds, so this very timely framework is just what we need in our arsenal to make scheme administrators’ lives a little easier.”
The LGPS is already collectively benefiting from more than £98m in savings as a result of the National LGPS Frameworks programme, she said.
