Job Alert: South Yorkshire Pension Authority- Independent Investment Adviser

South Yorkshire Pensions Authority, responsible for the £11bn+ South Yorkshire Pension Fund, is seeking to appoint an Independent Investment Adviser to the Authority.

Remuneration: £28,000 per annum plus travel and accommodation expenses

Location: Quarterly Authority and Independent Investment Adviser Panel meetings held at Oakwell House, Beevor Court, Barnsley, S71 7HG and Annual Member Development Day held in Barnsley

The independent investment adviser’s role is to provide strategic and general advice on investment issues and to have considerable skills knowledge and expertise in that field. The independent investment adviser will work closely with Authority members to support them in fulfilling their role. With your considerable experience and understanding of the investment management industry and the factors that influence investment performance. With excellent interpersonal and communication skills, you will quickly establish effective working relationships and draw on your expertise to advise the Authority with confidence and impartiality.
