Salary £44,973 – £52,296 plus PRP
Enfield Council has consolidated its finance functions from across the local authority into a single Finance Hub. The hub covers four teams: Corporate Finance; Capital and Projects; Budget Challenge and Financial Activity; and Pensions.
Combining line management responsibilities and technical expertise, Finance Managers are key to the success of the Finance Hub and will represent the Hub to senior management in services across the Council.
You will be one of three Finance Managers in the Capital & Projects Team, responsible for providing technical and project finance advice to senior management. Whilst you will be required to work flexibly across the team you will have specific responsibility for the Housing Revenue Account (HRA). Previous experience of HRA Accounting is essential, as well as being a fully or part qualified accountant with the potential to operate at a senior level.
This is an exciting time to be working at Enfield as the Council explores innovative solutions to the challenges ahead. The postholder will have the opportunity to make a leading commitment to the Capital Projects Team and the Finance Hub generally.
