Leigh Whitehouse has been appointed as Surrey County Council’s new finance director, replacing Sheila Little, former president of the Society of County Treasurers, who left her post suddenly in July.
Whitehouse has worked as interim director of finance and corporate services at London Borough of Bexley since July last year. He also served as director of finance at Royal Borough of Kingston-Upon-Thames between 2010 and 2017.
