A regeneration project and property investments are set to increase income for Basingstoke and Deane Council.
Additional income has been secured from a £30m investment in new commercial property through the council’s property investment strategy.
This is on course to increase annual income by £1.2m from 2019/20.
The council’s partnership with M3 Local Enterprise Partnership to regenerate Basing View has led to additional grant funding plus new hotel and office developments which will generate extra income through business rates, according to a council report.
