Kent police are investigating possible fraud at a company created by Medway Council.
Officers have been called in to carry out a forensic investigation into the accounts of Medway Commercial Group (MCG).
The company was set up to provide recruitment plus CCTV services and remote monitoring to schools and care providers for older people.
