Following on from three highly successful Women in Finance roundtable events, which took place in Leeds, London and online last year, Room151 has released three extra dates for Spring 2023.
The additional roundtables will take place in London on 20 April, Rochdale on 17 May and virtually on 2 May.
Each roundtable session is for up to 12 participants and will be chaired by Kelly Watson, CCLA’s head of government relationships.
The roundtables are designed to be a supportive and safe environment for women working in local authority finance to discuss the challenges facing the sector, network with colleagues and find solutions to implement back in the workplace.
The sessions are open to any senior-level women working in local government finance including (but not limited to): s151s, deputy s151s, finance directors, deputy finance directors, heads of finance and heads of treasury.
Room 151’s Women in Finance Network, supported by CCLA, is a place to meet, share ideas and experiences and mentor each other.
As part of the network, we have also launched a LinkedIn group which you can join here. This group is a closed forum for getting to know colleagues as well as displaying the latest event information and dates.
