
Lana Watson has been appointed as the funding and investment director at the London Pensions Fund Authority (LPFA).
Watson joins from her previous role at financial services firm WTW, formerly known as Willis Towers Watson, where she has worked for the past 19 years in several roles including senior director, director, HR business lead, diversity and inclusion lead and consultant.
At WTW, Watson worked as a senior pensions leader consulting on defined benefit and defined contribution pension strategies.
Watson announced her move from WTW to LPFA on LinkedIn last week.
The LPFA is the largest Local Government Pension Scheme provider in London and has around £7.6bn of assets under management as of March 2022. It is part of the Local Pensions Partnership Investments pool and has a variety of stakeholders including the Greater London Authority and the Lancashire County Pension Fund.
