Shropshire Council is set to relook at infrastructure priorities after a shortfall in funding.
The council will confirm next week that cash raised through the community infrastructure levy (CIL) isn’t enough to cover current plans.
The authority will keep the current level of distribution but reprioritise projects.
Gemma Davies, assistant director of economic growth at the council, will tell members: “While substantial sums are collected annually from developer contributions, including CIL and section 106, these amounts are highly unlikely to be able to support all identified infrastructure improvements.”
